Why Talent Cloud is different.

As HR professionals you will be finding (maybe) offers to join many other HR Social Networks.  Already in 2009 alone and just in the UK I have come across four other similar concepts.  But as with most things, nothing is ever quite what you expect so what is Talent Cloud all about?

Talent Cloud is purely focused on discussing HR/Talent related technology solutions that help organisations attract, connect, engage and retain great people.  But not just the obvious contenders such as HR systems but also leading edge concepts such as Twitter and social networks.  Therefore if you are looking to debate policies, redundancy strategies etc then this probably won't be the place to ask; it may be but most likely not.  If however you want to ask about what recruitment system, how to use Twitter, should you use Facebook and other such questions then hopefully this will be the place to ask.

So, if its technology this is your place.  If it's more traditional HR maybe not.  Hope that helps!
