Competitve Intelligence Tool Kit

I am leading a Global project within HR AstraZeneca around SHaring Best Practice. The area I am looking at improving capability within is COmpetitive Intelligence. I am looking at putting together a tool kit and wondered if anyone had done anything similiar and had any good ideas to share around this topic.
